OUR STORY
Why we chose to build differently
CZR Software was born out of a legitimate frustration: we saw too many Romanian entrepreneurs paying huge monthly fees for software they never actually own, whose price can go up at any moment, and which they cannot adapt to their specific needs without paying again.
So we decided to build a fair alternative: enterprise-grade software, delivered with a perpetual license and installed on the client's infrastructure. One payment, full rights, no future dependencies.
We are a team of software engineers with experience building systems for a wide range of industries — retail, manufacturing, professional services, logistics. We combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of the operational challenges Romanian companies face.
The SaaS model has its advantages. But the total cost of ownership of SaaS software often ends up 3–5 times higher than a perpetual license over a 5-year horizon. EUR 500/month for 5 years means EUR 30,000 spent on software you do not own.
We are not saying SaaS is wrong for everyone. We are saying that for your company, with stable processes and an established team, investing in software you own makes economic and strategic sense.
